I could have lumped them together but I wanted readers to be able to identify certain behavior. Funny giving gifts when he is stepping away almost guilts him into running away instead. Often a guy feels he needs to reciprocate that gift and he wants to bolt. The best move is actually pulling away yourself to allow him to figure out what the hell is wrong. I am guilty of this. When I am with people but thinking of someone else, I am constantly on my phone. When I am with the one who I've been waiting for, I forget there are others in this world.
