He has the cash, why not just pay?
This post is a response to Kim Hess’ article Why does Tiger Woods pay for sex?
I was recently talking to my friend Kim Hess over at Divorce Guru and some how, shockingly… Tiger Woods came up. The two of us have gone back and forth on this issue a few times and I although I am not defending Tiger for his actions I certainly understand and I am not sure the women really do.
Why men would consider paying for sex
Have you noticed that a few of Tiger’s mistresses of been relatively butt-hurt that he didn’t stay? Leave his wife, destroy his career and abandon his children for them?
From a man’s perspective this is simply insanity. Why in the world would Tiger leave all that he has for a little ass he was tapping?? In a man’s mind that often is all he is doing, especially a married man, who assumes that the girl will understand he can’t leave his wife for a little nookie.
This is why Tiger and so many other men resort to paying for sex. It is tacky and tasteless but it has NO STRINGS ATTACHED. Personally I think this is nasty but I can understand the appeal. Since I don’t believe casual sex exists, EVER…
Did his Tiger’s wife know?
Was Tiger’s wife aware that he was laying pipe with hookers all over the US? ABSOLUTELY!!! Of course she knew, she met Tiger in rich and famous circles and the things that happen in those circles are pretty crazy. A weekend in Vegas, with male friends, and unlimited cash?? Shit… Even I would be tempted (I know shocking right?)
There is no doubt in my mind that Tiger’s wife knew that he was sleeping with escorts for years before they met. I imagine Tiger convinced himself and his wife that he was a changed man. I bet it even lasted a good year or two but soon he was back to his old ways and his wife, LOOKED THE OTHER WAY. (My step father gave up being a tranny for 3 years before the dresses came back on and my mom came to me sobbing, holding a duffel bag full of dildos)
She felt she had to pretend what was happening wasn’t, if she faced it, she faced losing everything. This is sad, because ultimately she lost more by letting this slip. If she had confronted it in the beginning, it is possible it never would have gotten this bad. (no amount of money, comfort, or even for children, should suffer this behavior)
BTW: Tiger’s the mistresses are like cockroaches, if you see 16 you can multiply that by ten to guess how many more lie undiscovered.
Can any celebrity relationship survive such temptations?
When I moved to Japan for the first time I got a taste of what it is like to be a rock star and I am ashamed to say it took years before I was able to handle it well. I was a tall, blond, good-looking, foreigner in Japan. I didn’t have a problem meeting women in the US but in Japan it was ridiculous. I had women nearly throwing themselves at me; I had the ability to meet, and sleep with, a new girl nightly. This sudden “wealth” was not something I could handle initially, and I become a glutton.
Sex drive is very much like our drive to eat. Imagine you were given a thin body that never got fat and a limitless supply of your favorite food. What would you do? Would you hold back and just eat a little? Or would you keep eating and eating until some other factor, like a heart attack, limited your behavior? Most people like to believe that they would not give into temptation but imagine it from the male perspective. As much meaningless sex from beautiful women as you have ever wanted. How could a guy say no?

Tiger has too much money, not enough brains to use it properly and very little dignity. He thinks he can do anything in the world and money will buy loyalty, silence, love, happiness and recpect. The bigger the crap in his head the bigger the fall and he is experiencing this now

This is the nature of of fame and money. Do you really want to blame him for this? How would any of us fair? How would you fair? honestly?
Of course he is responsible for his actions but your anger towards him is based on what?
@Truelove. Lets get something straight here, there are rare cases when someone successfull is rich and is great with relationships/love. In Tiger’s case, he has lots of money and that is how he handles the love situation, by using money to get happy. That is how he sees it as being ok.
Getting back to the question on the blog, It would be foolish of any guy to lie and say they wouldn’t indulge in all the luxury they are presented with. The difference comes once they realize what is happening, how it may be destroying their life and what they are going to do about it to control this.

men are just greedy and are never satisfied. he had sex at home, should’ve kept it there. i’m not throwing any stones either, none of us are w/o fault but he messed up too many times.
