Why don’t you just leave the relationship status blank?

Hrm, a departure from the norm. Unexpected and I like that.

Those stinking people who break your concentration. Thank God I’m not one of those people and you just block me.

Nice tips, didn’t know about the chat neither. Also, that clarifies the married status, hahaha… Maybe because my profile is in Spanish, dunno, the ads aren’t that *bad* yet… I’m as a single, but I hide my status.

  9. Yup! Hence the married status but someone above just told me I don’t have to show it. Duh, should have known that!
But alas… The boobie pictures returned. I will just have to learn to enjoy them.

this may be a no brainer, but to unfriend someone you just delete(remove connection)them in your friends list, right. But does it tell them? I don’t care if they are looking for me I just do not want to see their pointless posts on a day to day basis and I don’t want them knowing I have unfriended them.

    Hi Christina
Nope… it doesn’t tell them but I prefer to just hide obnoxious people. I mention how in tip number 3. The only problem is that they can find out because they no longer have you as a mutual friend and they might get a suggestion on facebook to add you as a friend if you have a lot of mutual friends.
anyone want to add to that?

  12. Christina Preciado says:

thanks Mike I just wanted to make sure they didn’t get notified, they can add me all they want but I would still have to accept the add, I think. Glad to see you are well. C

Dang lots of comments on this post
You would have to accept it but I think there is an ignore option if you don’t want to accept. I haven’t used it before.

Blocked me, eh? Well, I suppose that was a smart move. I can be a bit of a hassle. All that wanting to talk to you when you ask for opinions and all.

Hi, great article! Just wanted to see if anyone knew..
A while back I think I saw some option to not notify your friends when it was your birthday on facebook, is there any way to do this? Without having to remove the birthdate from the profile?

    Thanks heaps! (:
